Those actually take a really long time, because they need to age and that sort of thing, and then you generally blend a little bit from a few batches together to get the taste you want.

Interestingly enough, my girlfriend's other boyfriend brews but doesn't drink. He's into the process and enjoys doing it, but he doesn't like the taste of alcohol. I guess it's a good thing that his roommate (they brew together) drinks!
