A neat hand-made knife, from Zombie Squad.
In other countries, people squat comfortably. Something I'd like to get better at, for related weight lifting exercises.

squat. been sitting that way most of my life.

was hard to do after i hurt my knees, but i've worked back to it. need to keep doing it, or lose it.

kettlebells have been helping squats a lot :)

watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y76UbfBr5vo

there was a higher quality version, which isn't coming up in searches, but it's fun nonetheless

I've been liking Rock, Paper, Cynic a lot.

I liked the knife video. When I was studying Aikido in Austin we had the pleasure of having the guy who taught the Army's knife-fighting infantry school train with us and do a few classes. I've been in two knife fights in my life and I wish I'd had those classes beforehand.

I've been told that the squatting thing is about 2/3 hamstrings and 1/3 balance. If you can loosen your hamstrings up to the point where you can sit on your heels then (I'm told) learning the balance is relatively easy.
