[geek] Linode pissed me off today.

My server went offline. I attempted to log into their web interface to see what was up. It told me I was connecting from an IP not on my whitelist, and that it sent me a verification email that I would need to get into the site.

Guess where my email is hosted.

The exact same thing happened to me with my Linode, though it was a few days earlier and my email isn't at Linode. I'd imagine you could email them to fix it, though.

Now I'm just curious if I found out about Linode through you at some point, because I've known about it for a few years now but can't remember how I found it.
