My very high cholesterol levels were from a test before I began improving my diet.

I apologize for not giving that impression in my last post. I just had blood drawn for another test yesterday, and should get the results around Wednesday.

FWIW you might want to see a cardiologist, and go through the annoyance of an angiogram, to have someone LOOK in the vessels and see if there's cholesterol in there, rather than just testing for markers. With those numbers, insurance would probably pay for an angiogram as a second opinion. Yes, it's a surgical procedure, yes it requires light anesthesia (not general anesthesia) but yes, it's also pretty damn definitive.
