Seven songs in I'm still dancing with a huge grin on my face. At work.
I hadn't listened to this in a long time. Last edited 2007-05-21. 2.3 years. Weird.
The first seven songs:
I recently started significant work on my playlist again, and found some very useful stuff in my pandora bookmarks. I wondered how I found them all. Now I know.
Pandora's algorithm sucks. It takes a lot of work to make a decent station with more than one or two seeds. Apparently, I did.
Fourteen seed songs. I'm sure none were added without first verifying that not only were the songs awesome, but a pandora station seeded with only that one song and no thumbs-down was also awesome. 82 songs thumb-downed.
Once again I remind myself of the book A Mote in God's Eye. A civilization with a long history of collapsing and rebuilding created for themselves a museum of technology with a basic map of the solar system as a lock.
