Skyline Trail Won

cathijosephine and I hiked the Skyline Trail at Middlesex Fells. I was really enjoying it. Beautiful woods, relatively jagged terrain. Until about half way through the 7 miles. At about two thirds of the way and four hours in, I was done. We found South Border Road far more easily than we had any business doing without a map or knowledge of the area, and walked along the road the rest of the way.
Today I am really wonderfully sore. That will certainly happen again, but shorter next time.
cathijosephine could have done the rest of the trail, and keeps saying she can't understand how I can run for 25 minutes straight (which she can't) and not hike that trail.
