Clothes dryers
Jun. 27th, 2010 10:40 pmClothes dryers determine moisture level by measuring temperature differential. Except for some new ones which actually use moisture sensors (hygrostat / hygrometer). One of the thermostats is, not surprisingly, where lint can collect.
Hex driver bits fit in 1/4" sockets. Together they make a decent super snubby screwdriver.
Once I got the useful panel off my dryer I immediately found a nice wiring digram in an envelope waiting for me. The first web search for the first part number I looked up (the thing on the vent side of the blower) took me right to the full parts fiche. Different brand, same stuff.
